I am trying to to find out if Ram is factory installed or third party. Any ideas? I have a chance to buy some SF 482-1200 boards for $45k. But am curious if Ram is Sun or not. Any info would be appreciated.

Might be might not be.

depends on the original Purchase order..
and the owner could have upgraded it in the mean time.

But let him send you a showcomponent or prtdiag -v output
