OS: sunos 5.7 (solaris 7)
CPU/Ram: sun4m 85/32meg

I'm trying to get my new sparcstation on to my lan. I dont know much about unix or sunOS. I did some reading and learned a little about ifconfig. i did the -a option and the only interface that appears is lo0 which i believe is the localhost. could any one help me to get this thing on the internet.

if you type sys-unconfig you will get a chance to re-enter all of your network information. That's a good start. Probably take you 5 minutes including the reboot.
