i have Sun Ultra10 and it he is showing the message:
The IDPROM contents are invalid
rebooting with command: boot
cant't read disk label
cant't open disk label package
boot device: net file and args:
internal loopback test -- did not receive expected loopback packet.
evaluating: boot
can't open boot device
can't read disk label
can't open disk label package
boot device: net file and args:

what it be happening ???

Most likely your NVRAM is wacked out. NVRAM means non-volitile RAM, which has a battery to keep track of your system configuration data. If the battery is not functioning or the NVRAM is damaged, your system will tell you the above error message to show you that the contents are damaged.

Take a look at the NVRAM FAQ at http://www.obsolyte.com/sunFAQ/faq_nvram.html.. I'm having the same problem, I'll have to go get a new chip..
