I have windows 2000 network. How can I see Sun machines in windows network.I mean how to Sun machines in 'Computers Neat Me' in windows?

Hi, you have to install netlink software to share the sun server resources in Windows network or you should install SAMBA server on your solaris server.

try PC Netlink 1.2 freely available on sun.com
go to download page and click on pc interpolarability and follow the instruction.
when installed you can map solaris root(/)on NT machine.
Summary: i have a similar set up but i can not share files between NT or Sun. i can only see the hostname of sun machine in the network neighbour hood and upon clicking on it i get Admindoc ,Tools,Users etc...
