Comment:

We recently purchased a Sun Blade 100 with Solaris 8 to start doing some additional development on.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions, sites, tutorials they would recommend on setup/configuration basics for installing Solaris and setting it up to work in a predominantly NT networked environment.
(e.g., initial configuration, directory structure, integrating the machine into a DHCP network, DNS setup, security protection, user accounts, software installations, etc.)

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I have installed quite a few SunBlades. Are you going to re-partition the machine? Samba is a good tool for communications with a Windows network. I would need more information with regards to what kind of security, user accounts, etc. that you need.
