Comment:

I want to stop the date on my sun ultra-80. I'm not sure if I can stop the clock, the date could stay without change. Is that possible??

Thanks

Arturo

I donīt think it is possibly since it is part of the BIOS-hardware. You might be able to stop if you open the box and remove the BIOS-battery (if there is one) but I donīt recommend it.
Otherwise why not write a small script that sets the time and date to a fixed value at every boot.
