solaris10 is not booting in AMD system.

am having AMD PhenomII X4 920 processor with Asus M3N78-EM mother board, am getting error msg when boot the system from solaris10 boot disk, the same disk is booting in other system like AMD athlon and intel core2duo,

The error msg as following :

Sun OS Secondary Boot Version 4.02

Prom_Panic:Kmem_free block already free

Entering boot debugger:

[139689]:

plz help me out to solve this.

Could be bad disk still.

Re-burn and the slowest speed and be sure to check md5 on download.

Not the exact same, therefore error in assumption.

Is there general bug reports on this processor already?

If you had truly and exact same motherboard, and that is almost impossible, then your argument would hold.

I hope there is no any general bug on tat processor.

I tried Solaris Sparc cd(64Bit), its booting but not able to config the KDM, i tried all the possible option in Graphics Adapters which are listed but still not able to config.

Need a solution for tat.

Anyway thanks for ur replay Jefro.

Now I am confused.

Original issue seems to be ACPI issue.

The KDM should be GDM.
