On most svr4 systems ( including solaris )
useradd userid passwd userid
Reference the man pages for useradd on your system for more details.

Hi...
I have faced an unusual problem. Actually i was installing Solaris 8 after Windows 2000 server for making my New Pentium IV dual boot. When i was selecting Interactive installation my system was rebooting automatically without asking for language options which it should ask. I have checked settings in BIOS as much as i can. I tried the same thing with Pentium III & it worked out. Is there any conflict with P IV System. Pls let me know.
