solaris installation problem

I can't installall solaris 8 on my intel system and I don't know why. the cd 1 and 2 are bootable, i inserted cd 1 and it goes and picking the installation path. It will then reboot and will not install anything. when i inserted the cd 2 the same thing occurs. pls i need help as soon as possible. My stystem is: pentium 4, 256mb ram, 1.6ghz processor.
