I am trying to install Solaris 9, my first attempt ever. Ive got a total of 8 cd's, but the first three look most important. 1st is labeled Solaris 9 installation, 2nd is labeled Solaris 9 Software 1 of 2, and the third is Software 2 of 2. Ive got a 10GB HD with XP on a 5 GB partition, and want to install Solaris on the other 5GB. The problem is, I cannot boot off of any one of the above mentioned cd's. My drive is set to boot in BIOS...and am able to boot off of other cd's. How can I install this. Thanks in advance!
