I installed Solaris 9 on my desktop the other day using a Intel Pro 10/100 B NIC. I am connected via a hub to my Windows XP sytems using ICS. Problem is I cannot ping the Windows ICS host (192.168.0.1). Althouht this setup works fine with Linux it appears that I cannot ping 192.168.0.1. Could there be a firewall issue here? If I do a ifconfig -a the interface is UP and RUNNING. If I ping it, it return alive. Any help here would be greatly appreciated since I ame new top Solaris.
