SOLARIS 9 network problem

OS: solaris 9(x86)
CPU/Ram: PIII 700

HELLO,I have installed solaris 9(x86) over.
IP is 192.168.0.1,BUT NOW i cann't ping other machine on segment 192.168.0.1.and i can ping myself(192.168.0.1) and broadcast(192.168.0.255),why??

Have you set a default router? Check the /etd/defaultrouter file. You might also need to run the "route add default " command.

You may also need to configure it into DNS server. check if you are using DNS in /etc/nsswitch.conf file
