Comment:

Can someone tell me where I can download a Solaris 9 intel boot disk. I am trying to install Solaris from my CDROM but cannot boot from it. I already tried changing the boot sequence in the BIOS which didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Solaris 9
How to create the Device Configuration Assistant Floppy for Solaris 9
There is a diskette image file on CD 2/2 - the path to the file is:

Solaris_9/Tools/d1_image
This 1.44MB file should be written to a formatted 1.44MB floppy diskette using the 'dd' command (Solaris, Linux) or the 'dd.exe' program available at http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#aboutdd.
