Comment:

i have a fresh unformatted hard drive . i tried to install solaris 9 on it. it is a 6 gb hard drive. in which i gave 9% to x86 and made it active and rest of all to the solaris partition. now after decting the hardware . i gave the swap slice 1000 mb and to start on boot. with starting from 3 cylinder now it says "copying mimi root to disk ... done" then after that "copying platform specific files...done"then "preparing to reboot" then it takes another 2 minuates and dispalys that "warning: /tmp:file system full, swap space limit exceded. where is this /tmp . how can i make it larger and one more thing in the partitioning section i pressed "A" that was for x86 then after that "1" for soalris i had'nt made any /tmp partition.what is happening with me can't get
a clue...
thanks in advance

In case you didn't get this solved by now ...

it may be a RAM problem. It should install
with 128 MB RAM but that is at or near
the minimum.
