Solaris 9 install problem

I received SS20 recently and performed a fresh install of Solaris 8 on it. I downloaded Solaris 9 CDs and wanted give them a try but when booting from Install or CD1 CD-ROM reads the CD for a few minutes then cursor stops to "rotate" and nothing happens. Although system does not freeze because it responds to Stop+A. It obviously works since I managed to install Solaris 8 on it without a glitch. Any ideas?
I created second copy of the CDs but it's still the same, so the problem is not with CDs.

I rechecked and SS20 is in fact supported. Even older SS10 is. I have 208MB in that thing ;)
