Solaris 9 directories

I have 3 /home directories. The one i use is /export/home/username. I also have /home/username and /net/home/hostname wich all contains the same as /export/home/username. What are these directories used for ?

that is because:
on your Server you install your home-dir on /export/home, if you login on a client (this might be also the server) it will mount (via automountd) this file system to /home and because it's a nfs file system and automounter is running you can find the same dir in /net/{FQDN}/home/username, this is the "normal" syntax....
