Hi everyone,

Im tearing my hair out here, too much damn work and too little time to read manuals.

The Problem :

I want to install a program called docmgr onto the Solaris, have to use postgresql, apache, and php. I have to compile them but realized i didnt install the Developer Cluster off the solaris CD.

What is the best way for me to do this while keeping all my orginal settings intact? This system CANNOT go down as it controls live archiving for a tv station.

The manual is entirely way too cryptic, and the sun web site doesnt help either.

Would appreciate any help any of you can give.

Many thanks
