Solaris 8 (x86) on Pentium iv

Machine boots normally with webstart CD and all devices are detected by bus numeratin phase. Just after selecting interactive or other option machine reboots.

I was having that same problem last night until I used the Software CD 1 of 2 to do my install and then everything went flawlessly. I have read somewhere that using the installation disk that come with Solaris does not work very well.

Hi
First of all remove all partition from your disk because solaris looks for primary partition.
