is the m64config command the best way to manage video settings on Sol8/Blade100. I can't seem to get the video into 24bit mode even while useing the m64config -propt. wish there was a gui interface or something.

Check to make sure you are running an m64 card.

fbconfig -list

We have run into this on the Blade 150's and 1500's. Run a man on the package that shows up to get the syntax/command.

usually running this command in command lind in root mode will change the depth.

m64config -depth 24

if this is not working? what is the error message
