Hi All, I am trying to install solaris 8 intel on my laptop which has win xp. I currently have s swappable cdrom/floppy disk so I will be very grateful if someone can tell me where i can get the solaris 8 intel installation cds. Thanks

You can get the CD's for free from the Sun site. The images can be downloaded as an iso image and then burned to a cd. BE WARNED... check the compatibility list at the SUN site to make sure your laptop has the appropriate hardware configuration. The image generally does not work well on a laptop. The main reason? Lack of support for video, NIC, and audio cards.
