I tried to install Solaris 8 for Intel using the installation CD and I can't get it to boot from the harddrive. When I used CD 1 of 2 to install, I was able to set it to boot from the harddrive. But when the computer rebooted, the screen freeze on the blue screen "Searching Hardwares on your system…" for half and hour without moving. Now, both installation CD and CD 1 cannot get past that point. I tried to use the Fdisk to delete the partition but it can’t see the HD. I have not get to the Web Start screen yet. I use the Windows 2000 CD to boot the system, it freeze on a blank screen. Please let me know what I need to do or any utilitize I can use to fix the harddrive so I continue to install Solaris.
