Solaris 10 installation problem

I got the solaris 10 dvd when i attended a seminar by sun microsystem and i work in java. I was able to install solaris 10 in my desktop now wanted to intall solaris 10 in my laptop Dell Inspiron 1420 the problem is not detecting the keyboard
