Solaris 10 Hang on the installation

Hello everybody! i have a problem with the installation of Solaris 10 for X86 , it boots the installation but it hangs when it says: configuring the devices....i tried restarting the installation several times but the same also i have tried to install through the different options of intallations: interactive, text console,etc but nothing. I have a HP Pavilion 6609 with a 40 Gb hard disk with Win98 already installed and i made an space for SOlaris with Qparted ...Any ideas how to work around to get it installed on my computer? Thanks in advance fro the help

Check the Solaris HCL (Hardware Configration List)I think Solaris X86 distb does'nt support HP Pavilion.
