Solaris 10 Hang on the installation

Hello everybody! i have a problem with the installation of Solaris 10 for X86 , it boots the installation but it hangs when it says: configuring the devices....i tried restarting the installation several times but the same also i have tried to install through the different options of intallations: interactive, text console,etc but nothing. I have a HP Pavilion 6609 with a 40 Gb hard disk with Win98 already installed and i made an space for SOlaris with Qparted ...Any ideas how to work around to get it installed on my computer?
