Alright, this problem is probably going to sound moronic, but that's alright.
Essentially, I downloaded all the images for the 4 Solaris 10 CDs from Sun's website.
I burned them all as ISOs, booted from the first CD, worked great. I get about 15% through the install, and it asks me to switch CDs.
None of the other CDs work.
I proceeded to go back to Windows and reburn the last 3 CDs in about 5 different ways; ISOs, UDFISOs, unzipped files/folders..... and none of them will read when the install asks for a CD switch.
What is the problem here?
What format do all of the CDs need to be in?
I ask because I'm assuming one of the later CDs has the GUI interface for Solaris; I can't really use Solaris without it.
Thanks.

hhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm that is strange. the only thing I can think of is the next cd its asking for is bad or corupt. if you are having difficulty with cd 2 download it again, if its cd 3 get that one again instead............you get my drift here?
I think one of the zip files you have downloaded is bad..........
I have run into this before though

I am having a similar problem, but when it gets to around 15% it doesn't even ask for the second disk, and it terminates the installation. It says the installation won't work in the logfile eventhough everything appeared to work. Could it be that it is because I'm trying to intall it on the second partition on a slave hard drive? Can it only be installed on a primary hard drive in the boot partition? I'm new to Solaris and linux and unix, so I'm a little confused... However, I don't think it is a bad ZIP file in my case.
