Comment:

Hi all, I have a e420r with 2 18GB internal Hard drives and would like to do mirroring. However, the documentation that I have read on using solstice says that I should have a small partition (50 mb) for the meta database. The disks are already setup and I can not repartition the drives. Has anyone been able to do disk mirroring with having the same partition setup?

Thanks

Billd

Recommended is to have 1 slice available for
replica's.

Maybe You can shrink your swap file with
10 mb... (that's enough for the additional
replica slice) (Sun can boot without swap)
(Use Format to shrink swap partition and add new slice)
And partition the other disk the same way...

hope it helps...
