I'm trying to set up a print server on Solaris 8 and I'm not exactly how to go about doing it. I've tried transferring the data from the previous print server and modifying the printers.conf file on the print server as well as on the nismaster, but I'm getting an error that I need to define a port. I will be setting up only remote printers. Can anyone give me any assistance or point me in the right direction>

You will have to setup print server using lpadmin command. Just copying the conf files won't help.
