I have a apache server who's working fine but I want a FTP too. I try to connect to my ftp: ftp://root@192.168.205.222 and Netscape pop up for a password. No PW work, even if I try this on the solaris 8.
Thanks

you cannot ftp in as root on sol8 without editing /etc/ftpusers first. Try as a regular user
