im trying to set up a domain on my sparcbox. i have a domain registerd and i have apache on my sparc box. i know i need to setup a name server somhow on it.and then add some stuff to some config files but i cant remember exactly what
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hi-
You need to update the following files:
/etc/hosts /etc/nodename /etc/hostname.$interface
where $interface is hme0|eri0|le0, depending on what type of machine you are installing this on.

isnt there like a file were u change a zone or somthing and add www to it? i did this about a year ago but i cant rember what files i changed

That's only if you're running a name service on your local network (man domainname).
If you just have a web server off of your leased line/internet connection then it's just a case of doing as was suggested above with those files.
