Comment:

Attaching a Lantronix device to the ttya port on a E420R Sun system. Telnet to the port and I get the telnet connection message but no login. This is a headless system so ttya is the console by default (it should be from what I have read)

Have 10 other SUN systems - same configuration. Telent to the ttya serial console and I get the login prompt.

I have been through admin tool to verify that settings are the same. I see no difference. Where else should I be looking?

Many thanks
