Greetings: I am trying to configure sendmail on my X86 Solaris 8 machine. The MX record has been setup and I actually see the traffic coming to my mail server when I do a snoop on the interface. I have configured the /etc/mail/sendmail.cw to the domain mydomain.net. I have also added mydomain.net to the /etc/relay-domains file, just incase... A user account has been created on the machine with my name aalavi with home directory / and shell as /bin/false; cause this is an email only account. I tried creating a mail box in /var/mail/aalavi but the received mail never shows up in the mailbox. The sendmail daemon is running. Any pointers will be appreciated. thanks, -asim alavi

Hi , You have to configure in /etc/mail/sendmail.cf file. do u configured dns or you are doing with out dns,mail me. Bye jaky

Thanks Jaky: Found out that my partition carrying the mail queue was running out of space. Some disk cleaning has solved the problem. -asim alavi
