samba fail

OS: solaris 10 x86
CPU/Ram: 512

I am having trouble starting samba on solaris 10 x86

I get the folowing error

./smbd -D
ld.so.1: ./smbd: fatal: libiconv.so.2: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed

from what I can tell libgcc does not contain this file.........so where do I get it?

anyone have any suggestions?
