Hi!
I am running some demos and I'd like this demos to be displayed on all the screens of the room.
How is that possible? Using the DISPLAY environment variable???

Hi,

Yes u can do it ,
telnet to u r server and set the DISPLAY variable to u r IP addr and :0.0(local display)

ex:
export DISLAY=[console ip addr]:0.0
export DISPLAY=10.135.0.18:0.0

and then start the application , its GUI will be displayed on u r screen.
But for this u may have to issue "xhost + "
command on server.

But i am not so sure can u do it for more than one console ....try it , it may depend upon how u r application is written.

do let me know if u get sucess or some other problem...

regards
pankaj
