OS: Sun ver 10
CPU/Ram: 4 Gig
Model/Manufacturer: Sun E450
Comment:

I want to purchase an old sun E450 to play around with. Can someone please tell me if these machines can take the new 73gig HDD's or if I would be better off purchasing the older 36gig HDD?

The machine I have my eye on has two 18gig HDD in it already, but I need more in order to install my ERP Application.

Thanks for your help.

I was told that even though the specs from Sun say they are limited, they don't see to be in actual useage. You can use ZFS and forget any size limits.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
