promise ultra100 driver

Hi, I'd like to install the x86 version of Solaris 9, but my winchester is connected to an onboard promise ultra100 ide controller. The problem is that the promise inc doesn't provide driver for this card for Sun Solaris. So I can't even access my winchester during solaris install. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? In other words, is there a driver for this card for Solaris, although it's not supported by the manufacturer? any comments would be appreciated thanks Benya

Please confirm hardware compatability with the Solaris HCL http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/data/sol/ If it is not certified, there is little chance of Solaris supporting your hardware.
