I get the following error when I try to call an CGI Executable from the web:

[06/Apr/2005:11:49:43] failure ( 1631): for host 10.13.57.106 trying to GET /cgi/xyz.exe, cgi_scan_headers reports: HTTP4044: the CGI program /cgi/xyz.exe did not produce a valid header (program terminated without a valid CGI header. Check for core dump or other abnormal termination)

When I call the executable with Apache Web Server it works fine. I cannot change anything to the program itself. Is there any work around. I am running Solaris 9, Sun Onw Web Server 6.1 with SP3.
Thanks
