I am having problems installing Solaris 8 intel version on a Compaq laptop running a 1Ghz Athlon processer, I can boot from the CD Rom or the DVD it does not have a problem with that but after it makes firs point of install I just get a grey screen and it hangs. Does anyone have any ideas or know if it works with AMD chips???
