I am using Dell Latitude D620 laptop. i am trying to install solaris 10.0 on this laptop. I upgraded my Bios to A05. I disabled Duo core from performance in BIOS setting also. when i try to install solaris 10.0, i am getting a warning saying that device driver not found and afer this message, installation is not happening. Guys, kindly help me out.

The exact message?
There is an HCL that may tell you what is not fully supported.
You should start with the latest version of either Sun solaris or opensolaris. Both have versions that run as live cd.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Thank you very much jefro for your reply.
The message i was getting is
consconfig: cannot find driver for screen device /isa/motherboard@1,61
can't find driver for console frame buffer
I am not getting beyond after this message

Read up on starting video in VESA on solaris.
Laptops are usually difficult since solaris is more of a server os.
Get the newer opensolaris too. See the HCL.
Worse comes to worse, get Virtualbox and run any os in it on your current os.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
