Hello all
I am trying send emails from one SUN ULTRA IIi machine to my email server.
But I have seen that , the addrees email have in its address the machine name included
example.
My name machine : ivr01
My domain : digit.com
User : periAnd when the machine send the email send with
the address peri@ivr01.digit.com
I think that this is not correct...and this creating problems...
Someone can tell me . What can I do for eliminate the name of the machine in the address...that the machine send to
peri@digit.com instead......
Thanks a lot.

Dear,
I have mentioned everything above try to read the man pages for paticular commands ,i have shown above, there is nothing complicated, how can i give you an example as i have no idea what how your hdisk is formated and what partition is full and which is empty.
i am sorry you are new user, but without understanding everything don;t do it other wise you will end up destroying your data., but will get a FREE space. :)admin@paklight.net

sorry it was posted in wrong window,
dear, you need to add a line in your /etc/hosts
xx.xx.xx.xx mailhost digit.com
replace the xx.xx.xx.xx as your server.s IP.
good luckadmin@paklight.net
