printer port-Scsi drivers

I have recently bought an external tape drive which has both scsi and paralell port connections, and I'm trying to connect it to backup a Sun Ultra5 workstation running Solaris. Does anybody know where I can find the "drivers" to connect to the printer port, as I have no SCSI capability? Thanks very much
