How do you switch off the power management within Solaris? I turned it on by accident and now it is going into the hibernation mode ever 30 minutes or so.

Hi-

Here are the steps to turn the power mgmt stuff off

cd /etc/rc2.d/
./S85power stop
mv S85power xS85power

Sun would rather you renamed to s85power (lower case won't run). It's just convention, that's all, and it might come up in an exam :)
