Hi.
Has anyone had the experience of using pkgadd with the -R option, and having it deposit the "var" dir into the install location vs. @ /var ?
The -R tells pkgadd to extract the package at a certain path, but when this is done, the package info does not go into /var. Attempting to remove the package fails, because the package info cannot be found in /var. Ughhhh.
I need to be able to compartmentalize various packages, and be able to install them in different parts of a directory structure which are not always defined.

Thanks for any info.

Edward.
