Hi, I'm having problem in accessing maped Solaris 2.6 nfs disk to PC operating on Windows XP. Error like "Access Denied" or "No Network Connection" r coming. As these errors are not frequent. When there is low traffic on the network, it's working without any problem. Kindly note that every thing working fine when the Pc os is Win95/98/Me. Pls help....
Also I'm having problem in last command output. Output is coming with one line showing some Jan 1. May be it is not updating wtmpx file.

First of all...You cant just mount NFS to a windows machine. You need to have SAMBA running. They are 2 differnt things. www.samba.org as far as your last command problem, check permissions on wtmpx & wtmp

Your version of pcnfs may not work on XP, there are some significat archetectural changes in windows between ME and 2000. Samba or PCnetlink (a freebe from sun) would be a bit more reliable.
