Hi!
Question... has anyone here tried adding a 'regular' PCI USB 2.0 card to a sparc Ultra 5 system running Solaris 9? I am about to get one and added, I know they work (within the OS) not from the OPB since it's not supporded... but I was wondering if you had the experience on the chip that includes on the PCI-USB2.0 card (VIA, NEC, etc).
And also, if the speed is actually USB2 (480MB) or just runs at 1.1 speed (1.5mb).

thanks!

I want to do the same job, if you have the technique, let me know.

I have Sun Ultra 60 (Solaris 8)at home.

Thanks in advance

Check out this page.

This should show the known good PCI cards, but I'd recommend Solaris 9 for this.
