i would like to know how to partition 40 gb hard disk . i have installed solaris 8 (intel) in my machine...pls give me in detail the steps

can't remember every step but as far as i know...
>format
then goto partition menu then
FOLLOW the PROMPTS.
everything is pretty logical after that.

Hi Shanmuga,
to partition a 40 GB hardisk u'll need Solaris 8 7/01 or higher. U can download the latest Solaris 8 version ie Solaris 8 10/01 from www.sun.com/download . For any further clarification u can mail me or can call me @ +919820330349.
