Hi there,

I am totally new in Solaris/Unix. As I have gone through few books, it seems that Open Boot interface is only available on SPARC platform, not on Intel because Open Boot PROM consists of two chips on each system (mother) board – the startup PROM and the NVRAM chip.

Hi There,
Ripon is absolutely correct.. Open Boot is only supported on SPARC machines..
