I went to NVIDIA's website and downloaded and installed the driver for my graphics card here - http://www.nvidia.com/object/solari...

I ran nvidia-xconfig and it created a new xorg config file. However, when I reboot my labtop it says X-Server can not be started on display :0 with following error report -

SUNWxorg-graphics-ddx package version: 6.8.0.5.10.7400,REV=0.2004.12.15
SUNWxorg-graphics-ddx patches applied: 125720-10

SUNWxorg-mesa patches applied: 125720-10 125724-01
Before reporting problems, check http://sunsolve.sun.com/

BTW I've tried to remove xtsol and freetype but the other error is still there.

And here's the xorg.conf file. I'm a total Solaris noob so help is GREATLY appreciated.

See readme file http://us.download.nvidia.com/solar...

You might have not installed it correctly either. See also edits for xorg file.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
