Right now we are using NIS on solaris 9 OS on Sun fire 880 server ,But we are facing Some internl internal problem we would like to go back for OS SOLARIS 8 2/02 (in the same machine)With Same NIS Like before .
Is there any kind procedure for Degrading of
Solaris 9.0 to solaris 8.0 (keeping NIS Data same)?
If not what are the other solutions to implement NIS ?
