i need to network solaris 8 NIS+ and XP asap, with out the use of SAMBA, i need to share a directory and be able to FTP to and from. do i need to do something speical to my Solaris Sever running NIS+ to allow ftping, not only to the server but to other clients. and vice versa, i mainly want to go from solairs to the xp box? im pretty new to XP!
