Comment:

What is the naming convention of the hard drives and partitions under Solaris?
The installation program wants to install on /dev/c0d0, or so I remember; but I need to install it on the prmary slave disk. Which one is it?
Thnks in advance.
Alex.

You did not specifiy what version of Solaris you are using or platform you are on. However
it sounds like you are on an x86 platform. Have a look at the System Administration Guide for Solaris x86. It contains a full description of the device naming convention.
