Hai,

How I can mount windows files in solaris so that I can use the files in windows for reading and writing? My windows partition is FAT32. Please help me.

Hi,
as I know, it is not possible on a direct way. Please setup a Samba Server. There you can change data.

So you are tellling me that its not possible to mount windows me fat 32 file system to solaris 8 in a stand alone system? Please reply me.

Hi,

you can try pcfs, but for me it doesn't work. You can try mount -F pcfs ....

Hi,

You can mount fat32 filesystem to solaris8 using mount -f pcfs.

First you go to /dev/dsk the found out which one is your windows partion.If you are not able to found out, you can use trial and error with all, which one is working.
